The Best Jeans for: A Curvy Girl!

travel in style.jpg

I know, I know...we look fabulous in EVERYTHING! I get ya girl, I have to fight off the overwhelming amounts of advances and cat calls while out running errands. Me and Brittney Spears have the same problem. HA! I'm really just aiming to look my best, is all (And I love the looks just from my hubbie, heart emoji)

Navigating thru the world of Jeans can be rough for those of us with a little extra love on our bodies. I have a bubble but and thick thighs so Jeans can be tight around the thigh area (oh and there is that whole can't ride some rides at Magic Mountain thing also due to height restrictions) and bunch out around my strangely small waist. I wear a size 6 or 8, depends on my salt intake for the week!  So let's see what work's for us and what doesn't:

These are "Cheap Monday Mid Spray Skinny Jeans" for under $20. They are actually more flattering than I expected since they're so light in color. I figured they would show every single little tiny imperfection (cellulite) and they aren't bad. I get complements every time I wear them. There light weight and don't fade after washing. I would not personally wear them without a little longer sweater or shirt out and about because I'm self conscious of my belly in these. As long as I keep my shirt at the hip they work great for me.

These are Sienna Slim Boyfriend Jeans from Lucky Brand for under $25. They're slim through the hip and thigh and a little fuller at the ankle. They fit me like a skinny Jean but have nice stretch and give to them. I wear these tucked into Boot's often and rolled a couple times higher above my ankle with flats or Sneakers.

These are Boyfriend Straight Jeans from Old Navy for under $26. I love these Jeans and have had them for about a year. They allow me to wear a thick Belt which does this body good. (The thick belt sits on my thicker middle and hides it for me) They are straight leg but slouchy and roomy enough to be comfortable after a night with the Oreo's. I have worn them with Sneakers, Heels and Flat's. Dressed them up and down. I love the distressed legs, they give it a little touch of toughness. #Bikerbitch2018

These are "Embellished Back Pocket Boot-cut Jean's" at TJMaxx for under $20. Boot-cut is not very popular or "in-style" but they do work really well on a curvy gal. They give us a much leaner look as they lengthen our leg. My thicker thigh's look thinner since the eye continues down to the shoe. These are a favorite since they are a Mid-rise and don't bunch in the back.

These are "Lands' End Women's Petite Mid Rise Straight Leg Jeans" in dark wash for under $20. These are great Jean's but they are WAYYYYY to big on me. We have all done it - bought a pair of Jeans in a size larger, just in case we gain a little weight, well these are mine. I really wanted to show you how a pair of Jeans that are too big on you make you look bigger!

These are my favorite pair! I paid about $120 for this pair of Low Rise Boot-cut Jeans from Guess about 2 years ago. I love the distressed look, lighter stitching and Boot-cut look. I feel like I really got my monies worth with as much as I have worn them.

And there you have it. What Jeans would you prefer? My favorite for my body type is the Boot-cut and the dark wash skinny Jeans. Do you have a favorite? I would love to hear from you.
